2009 Liberty School Cuvee

In 2009, Paso Robles was dry and cool, with relatively little rainfall in the early spring months. Early bud break in March, followed by tricky frost events in April led to steady warm temperatures starting in May and June. Upon harvest, grapes were de-stemmed, crushed and placed in stainless steel tanks to cold soak. This allows for extra time for the juice to interact with the grape skins prior to fermentation. The 2009 Cuvee exudes aromas of blueberries and cherries along with hints of eucalyptus.
