2011 Austin Hope Roussanne

Due to the wet spring of 2011, the growing season in Paso Robles faced difficulties, but the final outcome was truly the best of the best. Through very selective hand picking and low yields, the harvested fruit produced exquisite intensity and flavor. Austin Hope Roussanne is whole cluster pressed, fermented, and aged seven months on its lees in 100% French oak barrels. The 2011 Roussanne is a brilliant golden straw color with a fragrant bouquet of white flower, stone fruit and hints of sweet spice escaping from the glass. Juicy flavors of apricot and peach produce a round mouth feel and viscous body balanced with firm acidity on the back palate.
