Inky purple.  Musky blueberry, blackberry, cassis and anise on the nose, with complicating incense and white pepper nuances.  Supple, sweet and pliant, displaying good energy and lift to its black and blue fruit and spice flavors.  Very sexy and expressive already, finishing with smooth tannins and good spicy persistence. Bright ruby-red.  Sexy aromas of raspberry, vanilla and Asian spices.  Fleshy, palate-coating red fruit flavors show very good sweetness and depth, with zesty acidity providing lift.  Supple tannins add shape and grip to the energetic, persistent finish. ($42)
